Many people are drawn to the adventure and peace that can be found in remote and wilderness areas. Recreation in such areas comes with inherent risks. In this hybrid course, you will learn the basics of first aid specific to remote and wilderness areas. This course includes 10 hours of online learning and 6 hours in person. After completing both the online and in-person portions you will receive a certification from the Emergency Care and Safety Institute. This certification is valid for 2 years.
