The in-person portion of the Hybrid Wilderness First Aid course will be held in Spanish Fork (Most likely at the Sherrif’s Office) from 8am to 2pm on April 20th.
You must also complete the online portion of the course, which will be added to your profile within a week of your order.
Many people are drawn to the adventure and peace that can be found in remote and wilderness areas. Recreation in such areas comes with inherent risks. In this hybrid course, you will learn the basics of first aid specific to remote and wilderness areas. This course includes 10 hours of online learning and 6 hours in person. After completing both the online and in-person portions you will receive a certification from the Emergency Care and Safety Institute. This certification is valid for 2 years. You must sign up for this course and for one of the in-person training days.
If you choose the E-book manual, you will receive a code to access the e-book through JB Learning online. The field guide is a spiral-bound “pocket-sized” book that has the basic information from each chapter including guides for treatment. The full manual is a bound book that has the full detail of the manual (the same content as the e-book). You can select shipping to receive the manual before the class date, or pick up on the class date.

Took this course from Jordan last year and liked it enough to take it again this year. Refreshing myself on the material. Good online portion that covers the material and lets me learn at my own pace. Also, the online portion let me take time to review my first aid kits and review what I am missing and what I can do to plus up. Just finished the online portion and looking forward to the in-person portion this year.
